Please join us in congratulating faculty member Julia McDonald DO who was one of two recipients honored by the Maine Medical Association with the 2023 Mary Floyd Cushman, MD Award for Exceptional Humanitarian Service as a Medical Volunteer. The award was established in 2003 and recognizes the humanitarian service of Maine medical volunteers who dedicate their time to help the less fortunate of humanity. The award is announced at the Association’s Annual Session and includes a $1,000 donation to the institution or organization of the recipient’s choice.
