We have an opening for a certified and Maine-licensed nurse practitioner with excellent clinical skills, a passion for teaching and leadership development, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary team-based care to join our team, primarily working in the hospital setting. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about the unique care needs of older adults, including delirium prevention and management, polypharmacy, fall prevention, and supporting safe transitions across care settings. Also, given the unique role of our comprehensive and integrated program in optimizing and disseminating best practices to care for older adults across the health system, flexibility and willingness to adapt care models is important.

AOBFP or ABFM board certification is required, and candidates skilled in osteopathic manipulative therapy are preferred. The position is based at Maine Dartmouth Family Practice in Waterville.
Psychiatrist – Part Time: This is a 16 hour/week, outpatient-based faculty position that combines direct patient care with teaching responsibilities at Maine Dartmouth Family Practice in Waterville and the Family Medicine Institute in Augusta. The faculty psychiatrist provides consultative and continuity care within a patient-centered medical home, sees patients in group visits as well as individually, and works closely with a faculty psychologist and primary care clinicians to diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Candidates must be board-certified in psychiatry. The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching residents, students, and other health care team members and experience in providing patient-centered team-based care.
