Maine-Dartmouth has openings for the following positions:

ONMM Physician: Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency is currently recruiting a collaborative and holistic-minded AOBNMM-eligible or -certified osteopathic physician with comprehensive skills in direct and indirect manipulative techniques and a passion for teaching to join the faculty of our ACGME-accredited ONMM3 Residency, based in Augusta ME. This full-time academic medicine position combines inpatient and outpatient clinical practice with protected time for teaching, administrative responsibilities, and scholarship. Candidates must be eligible for full medical licensure in Maine. Our ONMM3 Residency is embedded within a unique collaborative care center that blends osteopathy with integrative and functional medicine for a holistic and patient-centered approach to care. Experience in multiple modalities and interest in consultative inpatient and specialty outpatient practice are a must – the ideal candidate is enthusiastic, flexible, and dedicated to high quality patient care, and has a strong desire to teach.

Family Medicine Hospitalist: Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency is looking for an allopathic or osteopathic board-certified or board-eligible family medicine hospitalist to help lead and direct inpatient training for family medicine residents. The position is based at MaineGeneral Medical Center’s Alfond Center for Health, a state-of-the-art hospital in Augusta, ME. Our faculty hospitalist will enjoy remarkable support from specialty medical staff, a reasonable inpatient volume that allows time for teaching, and a bond with a caring, patient-centered residency community. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic teacher committed to providing excellent inpatient care with interest in developing inpatient and procedural curricula. The position includes the option to practice and teach inpatient obstetrics if desired.

NP or PA: We have an opening for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant with strong clinical skills, a passion for teaching, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary team-based care to join our faculty. Comfort with structurally vulnerable populations in a primary care setting is a plus, experience in delivering acute and preventive primary care is a must. The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible, and dedicated to high quality patient care. This position is based at our Fairfield outpatient family medicine practice (Four Seasons Family Practice).

Clinical Dermatologist: This position for a board-certified dermatologist is based in the Waterville office of MDFMR Dermatology, an established and growing dermatology practice that uniquely blends outpatient clinical work with teaching opportunities. MDFMR Dermatology’s focus is medical and surgical dermatology with additional services such as Mohs surgery, phototherapy, vascular LASER, and total body photography available on site.  The clinical team utilizes medical scribing to help with precision and efficiency.  Time for teaching and research is both valued and protected.
