FACULTY PHYSICIAN – Geriatric Medicine

The geriatric medicine program at the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency has an opening for a board-certified DO or MD geriatrician with excellent clinical skills, a passion for teaching, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary team-based care to join our faculty. This position encompasses a combination of administrative, leadership, clinical, and teaching responsibilities. The ideal candidate is committed to best practice in the care of older adults, prioritizes person-centered medicine, and has the clinical versatility to provide direct or consultative care across settings (including outpatient, inpatient, long-term care, skilled nursing, and home-based care).

INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE FACULTY PHYSICIAN – Family Medicine Residency

Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency has a faculty opening for an ABFM- or AOBFP-certified physician, with board certification or advanced training in integrative medicine, to provide primary care services and champion our integrative medicine curriculum. The ideal candidate is a compassionate physician and enthusiastic teacher with strong clinical skills, expertise in alternative and complementary approaches to health care, and a commitment to high quality patient-centered medical care. Familiarity with University of Arizona’s Integrative Medicine in Residency (IMR) program and with medical marijuana certification in Maine is a plus. This position is based in Augusta at the Family Medicine Institute and encompasses direct clinical care, teaching, and curricular development. Willingness to practice full spectrum outpatient and inpatient family medicine (including obstetrics) is preferred, but we welcome applicants who desire outpatient primary care practice only.

FACULTY PHYSICIAN – ONMM Residency

At the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency you will find a close-knit community of allopathic and osteopathic physicians who love to teach. We are seeking an NMM-certified osteopathic physician, also boarded in family medicine or internal medicine, with comprehensive skills in direct and indirect manipulative techniques and a passion for teaching, to join our one-year osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine (ONMM) residency as faculty. This position combines clinical work with protected time for teaching and research. Our unique collaborative care center blends osteopathy, behavioral health, and integrative medicine for a holistic and patient-centered approach to care. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, flexible, and dedicated to high quality patient care. Experience in multiple modalities and interest in consultative inpatient and specialty outpatient practice is a must.
