Faculty present at AAFP Global Health Summit

Annually since 2014, faculty and residents from Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency travel to Honduras to provide primary care services in Colomancagua and five surrounding communities. Faculty physicians Julia McDonald and Jenny Pisculli  delivered a presentation at the AAFP Global Health Summit in Albuquerque recently to share information about how this opportunity was created and cultivated; the maintenance of relationships with local Honduran health centers and communities; the services provided during these global health experiences; and the educational exchange enjoyed between local Honduran health providers and members of the Maine-Dartmouth community.
