Originally from the Boston area, Dr. Marie Dardeno moved to Vermont, where she studied anthropology and conducted undergraduate research at the University of Vermont. Inspired both by her volunteer work in Ghana and by her own experiences as a patient of an osteopathic physician, she chose to pursue a career in osteopathic medicine. Dr. Dardeno earned her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and completed family medicine residency at the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in Augusta. Following residency, she spent five years practicing in Falmouth, Maine, with a focus on osteopathic manipulative treatment and integrative medicine. She is now pursuing ONMM3 residency training at Maine-Dartmouth to further deepen her expertise in osteopathic manipulative medicine and expand her ability to care for patients through a comprehensive, hands-on approach.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Dardeno enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
