Pronunciation of Dr. Tristan Reynolds

Dr. Tristan Reynolds joins the faculty after completing his family medicine training as co-chief resident at MDFMR. He earned an undergraduate degree in biology from Pennsylvania State University and attended medical school at UNECOM in Biddeford, Maine. While a medical student, Tristan was awarded a one-year OMM/anatomy pre-doctoral teaching fellowship, during which he taught first and second year medical students, treated patients in a neuromuscular medicine clinic, and lectured at an osteopathic college in England. Tristan completed a PG1 year in OB/GYN and, realizing that it was not the right fit, left residency to pursue academia as an assistant clinical professor at UNECOM. He taught first and second year medical students for 5 years and rose to co-direct UNECOM’s pre-doctoral fellowship program and integrated clinical skills/anatomy/OMM course. Tristan brings his passion for teaching and learning to MDFMR. A generalist at heart, he practices full-spectrum family medicine but can be found diving deep into specific interests in diagnostic reasoning, reproductive health, addiction medicine, osteopathic medicine, and health equity. In his spare time Tristan enjoys hiking, birding, home renovation, travel, and caring for his rambunctious children.
