Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I come from a family of commercial fishermen. To become a physician was not a predestined career path or a set expectation. Rather, it developed organically over years. As part of a family and a community who believed that love for our fellow man is best shown through service. At a young age I started working with local homeless populations which that continued throughout my teenage years and into young adulthood. The work became a passion to pursue medicine, and ultimately gave me the opportunity to practice street medicine in cities throughout the US. For all patients I work with, my dedication is to empowering individuals to take ownership of their health and ultimately improve the lives they live.

I initially moved to Maine for my residency training. I was captivated by its beauty and the peaceful nature of this area. There are enough similarities between Maine and the Pacific Northwest that it feels like home. When I am not practicing medicine, I enjoy finding ways to be active with friends, spending time outdoors as often as possible. Cooking and good coffee are a must. The remainder of my time is consumed by the joys of exploring new places and learning new things.
