Sam Deming-Berr DO, MPH is a 2018 graduate of Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency where she served as a chief resident in her final year, and a 2019 graduate of the MaineGeneral Emergency Medicine Fellowship. Originally from Michigan, she attended Occidental College in Los Angeles for her undergraduate studies and Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale for her DO and MPH degrees.
Dr. Deming-Berr returned to Maine-Dartmouth in 2025 as a faculty hospitalist. She also provides per diem emergency care in the MaineGeneral Augusta and Waterville emergency departments and reproductive healthcare at Mabel Wadsworth Center in Bangor, ME. Dr. Deming-Berr loves the variety that a career in family medicine provides and loves sharing the joy of family medicine with patients, families, residents, and medical students.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Deming-Berr loves watching birds and other animals in her yard, sharing the natural world with her children, spending time with her family, and reading mysteries.
