Sara Roberts is originally from Farmington, Maine, but had been wandering in foreign countries and states prior to her return to Maine and graduation from UNE as a physician assistant in 2004. She has worked at Four Seasons Family Practice since 2005. Prior to that she earned a master’s degree in adult education from the University of Wisconsin and worked in adult education, teaching literacy, GED, and ESL in Chicago, Florida, and Georgia. She was also a language interpreter (Spanish and French) at Grady Hospital in Atlanta for 7 years. In addition to her work at MDFMR, she is active with the Maine Migrant Health Program, doing migrant clinics and staff education. Leisure time activities include playing euphonium with a community band, bicycling, and sitting on her back deck, reading (and ignoring the lawn, which perpetually needs mowing).
