Dermatology Residency: Department of Dermatology at Saint Louis University Medical Center

I am originally from a small town called Rajkot in Gujarat, India and came to the US after high school to pursue an interest in research and academic medicine. I completed undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and attended medical school at Saint Louis University. My first year of dermatology training was spent in Chicago, where I met my wife (who is presently a hospitalist at MaineGeneral Medical Center), and I returned to Saint Louis University for the remainder of residency training.

As a general dermatologist, I treat individuals of all ages and with a broad spectrum of skin conditions, and I enjoy teaching medical students and residents. My research interests include immunobullous disorders and treatment of skin cancer. Outside work I am interested in philosophy and traveling, and am an ardent fan of Team India (India’s national cricket team) and Michigan State basketball.
