Medical School: University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine
Family Medicine Residency: Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency
NMM Plus One Program: University of New England Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency
Kiran earned his medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004 where he also completed a teaching fellowship in anatomy and osteopathic manipulative medicine. He entered family medicine residency at Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency and upon graduation practiced family medicine with obstetrics in Arcata, CA.
The allure of Maine brought him back east to practice outpatient family medicine and complete a neuromusculoskeletal medicine residency through the University of New England. Kiran rejoined the MDFMR family, this time as faculty, working with all levels of learners. Kiran left MDFMR in 2014 to experience a private osteopathic-focused practice and found that he missed the dynamic environment of a teaching program. He returned to MDFMR and took over as director of the ONMM residency on Jan 1st of 2016.
Kiran is board certified in family medicine, integrative and holistic medicine, and neuromusculoskeletal medicine. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). When not seeing patients or teaching he is playing with his wife, kids, cats, and puppy.
