Ellen Richardson, MD

Medical School: Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University
Family Medicine Residency: Family Medicine Residency of Idaho

Born and raised in a small town in Vermont, Ellen was first introduced to medicine through an undergraduate degree in community health where she focused on structural inequalities and disability theory. She stayed at Brown University for medical school where she fell in love with the practice of family medicine.

She then moved to Boise, Idaho to complete her residency in full-spectrum family medicine and explore the beautiful mountain west with her partner and fellow physician, Reuben. While there, she pursued specialized training in providing transgender care, obstetrical care, disability medicine, and broad reproductive care including vasectomies. She is thrilled to be back on the East Coast again and is enjoying exploring the local trails on bike and on foot.
