¿Qué Desean? - New Curriculum Grant on Care of Farmworkers
MDFPR recently received $44,000 as part of a $100,00 one-year Maine Health Access Foundation grant with the Maine Migrant Health Program. Project " ¿Qué Desean? Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Care for Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers" will include resident activities with migrant worker populations in blueberry barrons, egg production facilities and apple picking operations. Cathy Morrow, M.D., Associate Director of MDFPR, will direct the project team which includes Dan Meyer, Ph.D., Bill Alto, M.D., and Dan Onion, M.D.
