22nd Annual Nevola Symposium on Spirituality and Health
During the more than 20 years over which we have presented the Nevola Symposium, one of the trends we have witnessed is that many of us in the field have moved beyond the conversation about whether spirituality is important in health, and have moved more to the conversation about specifically how we may incorporate spirituality in people’s journeys toward health, healing and wholeness.
Toward this end, the 2008 Nevola Symposium will offer a full day of experiential and interactive workshops. We will be exploring a variety of issues in spirituality and health, with the goal that we will all leave with some practical refinements of our skills and approaches.
In the morning, six concurrent 3-hour workshops will focus on clinical issues and approaches about spirituality and health. In the afternoon, six concurrent 75-minute sessions (each repeated once) will focus more on personal issues related to our own centeredness, wholeness and resilience.
