Cosmina I. Fachiol. MD
Cosmina was born in Romania, where she grew up surrounded by medicine and having two very special physician role models in her parents. She graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Hatieganu” in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She completed her residency in family medicine at the Eastern Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Bangor, Maine. Her interests include geriatric primary care and hospital care, as well as palliative medicine and academic medicine. Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three boys, as well as traveling, hiking, reading, and listening to music of all kinds. She also loves to explore the beauties of Maine, which remind her a lot of her home country.
