Rebecca is a 2005 graduate of the Midwestern University PA program after finishing her undergraduate degree at the University of Maine in Augusta. Her passion is rural and underserved medicine. She worked in southern Oregon for 10 years, first in a city clinic and then in 2 small rural clinics. Although she and her husband loved the Oregon climate, mountains, and expansive federal lands, Maine was always in their hearts. They are happy to be back and close to family. Before practicing medicine, Rebecca had many jobs in mid coast Maine, from working at Outward Bound to managing a locksmith shop. She and her husband love gardening, camping, hiking with their dogs, and putting up all the produce they grow. She’s looking forward to taking up winter sports like snowshoeing again.
Rebecca is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
