minnieOriginally from the Philippines, Minnie migrated to the US with her family when she was eight and lived in Connecticut for 10 years. After acquiring her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology at the University of the Philippines, she went on to pursue her medical education at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, a medical school renowned in the field of Preventive Medicine. She completed her medical internship at Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center, a high volume government hospital well known for providing holistic patient-centered care. Minnie’s return to the Philippines provided a unique opportunity to be part of numerous medical and surgical missions serving the poorest of the poor and the sickest of the sick. Minnie’s medical training and experience allowed her to focus on the field she is most passionate about, Family Medicine. Equipped with a rich background in family practice and preventive medicine, Minnie went on to complete her Family Medicine Residency at St. Elizabeth Family Medicine Residency Program in Utica, NY. In August 2011, Minnie joined the Four Season’s Family Practice and is proud to be part of a team genuinely dedicated to holistic patient care.
Aside from her passion in medicine, Minnie is an avid amateur photographer and a lifelong student in the art of cooking. She and her family recently began enjoying the outdoors and are very excited to discover more of Maine and the people that make this state a great place to raise a family!
