Pronunciation of Dr. Kathleen Polonchek

Kathleen was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma but has family ties in Maine.  Following an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Kansas, she attended medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL where her passion for family medicine was kindled through a longitudinal experience at a federally qualified health center on the West Side of Chicago.

Kathleen completed her residency at Maine-Dartmouth where she served as chief resident before joining the faculty at Four Seasons.  She enjoys providing full-spectrum family medicine and is passionate about women’s health and reproductive healthcare, pediatrics, and care of the underserved.  She has a special interest in continuing to improve the residency’s culture of feedback.

Outside of work, you can find Kathleen baking, knitting, hiking, or cheering for the Kansas Jayhawks on the basketball court.  She is also a registered yoga teacher.
