I attended The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA for my undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry. I returned to my native Oregon to attend Oregon Health and Science University's PA program in Portland graduating with a master's degree in 2003. I am the trailing spouse to an itinerant academic and since graduation have worked in family medicine in rural Oregon, volunteered at a Catholic mission clinic in Ethiopia, at a community health center in Berkeley, CA and at St. Louis University hospital's emergency department. I am very happy to be back working in family medicine, especially in such a positive teaching environment.
In my free time I enjoy exploring the beautiful state of Maine with my husband and two small children.
