For many years, MDFPR faculty and residents spend a Tuesday afternoon doing volunteer "fix-up" work at a local community service site. This year we were at the Kennebec Valley Community Action Program
The activity, coordinated by Fred Craigie, our clinical psychologist, lets us take a look at places which serve our patients (for example, we have done similar work at "social clubs" and halfway houses in Augusta and Waterville). The photos on this page show the residents and faculty folks in action, including our fearless painter/leader, Harry Colt and recent graduate Deirdre Heersink.
